Pet Tolerant Detector

Traditional intruder detector sits unobtrusively in the corner of your room and detects an intruder over an area of 15 by 15 metres so usually one detector per room is sufficient.

The detection is by PIR (Passive infra-red) so needs both heat and movement to activate it. PIR detection means just movement, such as cushions sliding, Christmas cards falling etc., or just heat, such as sunlight, will not false alarm your system.

The pet tolerant detector is up to a maximum weight of 85lbs/38kg so will cope with all cats and most dogs. This means there is no need to lock your pet up in a certain room with security switched off.

Using military radio encryption and not Wi-Fi gives a wireless range of over 400 metres from a device to the panel, indoors or outdoors.

This intelligent system turns down the battery output the nearer the device is to the panel yielding an easily changed battery life of up to 7 years.
